Ambient rock band A Reminder are sharing their new song and music video “Undo,” a hook heavy song that merges the ’90s-style industrial synth of Pretty Hate Machine-era NIN with the band’s omnipresent shoegaze haze. The new song showcases a blend of ambient, post-shoegaze, and hard rock.

According to the press release:
“The band recall arriving at their name through the feeling of what initially reminded them and ‘inspired us all to make music and to never grow old.’ That motif kept appearing as an affirmation of mindfulness and awareness of the gift of presence within creativity and daily life. The song ‘A Reminder’ by Radiohead came on one day, and all of these similar themes collectively added to the realization that everything was a reminder and that the band now had a name and a direction.
“A Reminder has long been connected by a rooted network of members since the mid ’90s. In early projects, drummer Kenny Ramirez and Keyboardist Edwin Portillo shared stages alongside diverse acts such as Weapon of Choice, Trulio Disgracias, Skankin’ Pickle, and Michelle Shocked. Richard and Jonathan signed to Interscope Records with their hybrid electro-rock group Woven in 2001, featuring Jonathan on bass and vocal duties and Richard on drums.”
