Track Premiere: Amora – ‘Sacraments’

Amora follow up their 2022 Cutting Teeth EP with a brand new single for Heading East Records

Amora’s new single, “Sacraments,” which sees release to digital streaming platforms on May 9 via Heading East Records, is their first release since their 2022 EP, Cutting Teeth. The Philly post-hardcore outfit returned to the studio with producer Fred Mascherino (Say Anything, ex-Taking Back Sunday), and deliver an upbeat, riff-driven song that shows a different side of Amora.

Guitarist Tristan Wikler says, “Musically, we wanted it to be big and catchy with an in-your-face vibe. Lyrically, the chorus says, ‘Go build up your walls … Show me just how far you’ll go.’ We’re talking about a person’s willingness to ignore facts that don’t support what they believe in. It’s about our frustration with the lack of reason that you see so often.”

Catch the band live at these festivals this Summer:

July 6, 2024 – Camp Punkslyvania / Gilbert, Pennsylvania (with The Bronx, Big D and The Kids Table)
July 27, 2024 – Brewstock / Gastonia, North Carolina (with Psychostick)
