Ex-Christie Front Drive singer/guitarist Eric Richter’s electro-shoegaze band Antarctica are sharing their new track “Absence,” off of their remastered album 81:03.

Singer/guitarist Eric Richter moved to Brooklyn and started the band Antarctica after the breakup of famous Denver band. He recruited other members from the local scene. The band originally released the 81:03 album in 1999. Alap Momin (Dälek, The Lapse) engineered and produced the album. This is the first instance that an Antarctica record has appeared on vinyl.
