Astoria, Oregon’s Beta Voids are sharing their new track “Scrape it Off,” the title track from their debut EP. The EP was recorded by Mike Vasquez at Sweatbox Northwest and released through Hovercraft Records.

Bassist and Audio Bully Mike Vasquez shares his thoughts:
“’Scrape it Off’ is basically our knee-jerk reaction to having a chance to record ourselves in a manner reflecting our heroes from long ago and far away—We just went for it! (We) quickly set up mics and hit record, aiming for shades of James Chance’s live performances. All the tunes were quickly mixed and left for dead.”
Yeller Carrie Beveridge says:
“We just made shit up, and now we’re stuck with it.”
