Black Tusk are sharing their new lead single “Brushfire,” off of their upcoming new album The Way Forward which will be released on April 26, 2024.
Listen to the track here:
Guitarist/vocalist Chris “Scary” Adams have also produced and mixed the album. He shares his thoughts:
“We do use a few lays, effects and synths here and there for texture and space. This record still feels raw and powerful. It captures the feel of being at a Black Tusk show”.
Black Tusk was formed by Guitarist Andrew Fidler and drummer James May in 2005. After the last album, their bass player Jonathan Athon, unfortunately, passed away in 2014, and the band faced extreme difficulty in keeping going. Currently, the band is in full force, returning with their ear-blazing seventh album The Way Forward. The band’s long-time collaborator Chris “Scary” Adams has now joined as an official member alongside new bassist Derek Lynch.
