Track Premiere: Box Elder – ‘Post College Days’

Box Elder

Box Elder are the creative project of frontman and guitarist. Chris Mason, and as of winter 2022, they have formed into a full-fledged indie punk band based out of Wyoming.

Now based in Salt Lake City, Utah, the group draw influence from late ’90s/early ’00s indie and emo bands and infuse elements of modern-day emo and pop punk. Box Elder bring a unique approach to the pop-punk aesthetic blending tight, high energy and roaring guitars with booming and ethereal synthesizers.

Today, the band premiere their latest single, ‘Post College Days.”

“This song is about the changing landscape of friendships as you start navigating adulthood while trying to maintain those relationships,” says Mason. “It’s dedicated to my friend Kylie who passed in December of 2021 and who was one of the first people that massively supported this band and constantly supported me.”

The song makes its way to digital streaming platforms tomorrow. Presave it here.
