Rowdy indie rockers Boxteles might hail from the quaint surrounds of Huddersfield, West Yorkshire, but they’ve been waiting almost a year and a half to play in front a live audience.
The band’s newest single is taken from their forthcoming EP, Break-ups, Bevs and Thinking Ahead, through Caos Music and was recorded almost entirely from home.
New Noise are proud to premiere the band’s two-track single, “D’You Mind?” below:
On the release of their new single, and forthcoming EP, Boxteles state:
“We originally recorded the drum tracks for at the end of 2018 and were due to record guitars just as lockdown started. This song, as well as every other track on our upcoming EP were recorded almost entirely from home!
We are lucky enough to all have an interest and broad knowledge of music production, as well as the tools to make home recording possible which definitely helped us be able to bring our most recent creations to life without a fancy sound desk and recording booth.
We are super excited to have announced our five-track EP, due for release later in the summer which we’ve been working on for what seems like forever. It will have been almost a year and a half since we last played to a live audience and cannot wait to get back on stage. We’re hoping to announce many more shows towards the end of the year. Making up for lost time and all that!”
