Burial Tree are sharing their new track “Veve” from their upcoming album The Power of Myth. The Power of Myth will be released on August 1 through Subcontinental Records. The song also features Monte Cimino, Dave Lombardo, and Peter Apfelbaum.

Bay Area artist Monte Cimino formed Burial Tree in 2009. Their sound is an amalgamation of heavy post-rock/metal, experimental, and ambient genres. The band have released two albums so far: Dark (2010) and Rituals (2012). Both albums received heavy praise from critics. The band unfortunately got disbanded in 2013. The band was revived in 2025, as Monte was unable to fit any of his new demos into his current projects.
