Track Premiere: Carnivorous Flower – ‘Going to Die’

Carnivorous Flower

Richmond, Virginia-based low-key supergroup Carnivorous Flower are only about a year old, having been formed when Ben Snakepit (ex J Church, Party Garbage), Lou Hanman (ex Caves, Flamingo 50), and David Wuttke (ex Drunken Boat, An Uneasy Peace) all realized that they happened to have landed in the same city at the same time, having run in some of the same musical circles together over the year. Originally, the band were intended to be a J Church cover band in honor of Lance Hahn, but they quickly began producing their own material. Now they’ve got their self-titled debut album due out in August on Dead Broke Rekerds and they couldn’t be more excited about it.

Today, Carnivorous Flower are debuting their latest single off their upcoming album called “Going to Die.” A rollicking-tune full of stomp-along, sing-along vocals, this track is perfectly suited for being shouted out boisterously in a dive bar somewhere. Check out the track below.

You can preorder the record from Dead Broke Rekerds. Carnivorous Flower will be appearing at Fest 23, Sunday October 26 at University Club in Gainesville, FL. Follow Carnivorous Flower on Facebook and Instagram for future updates.
