Doom metallers Castle return with their new track “Black Spell,” from their upcoming sixth album Evil Remains.

Guitarist/vocalist Mat Davis shares his thoughts:
“We’re really excited to share another song from the new album. ‘Black Spell’ is a straight-up, classic metal-inspired barn burner, a throwback to the music I started off playing in the ‘80s. The lyrics deal with the immortal tale of history repeating itself…this time against the backdrop of Egyptology; 5,000 years of doom as told through the eyes of the Great Sphinx. Best listened to LOUD!”
Castle are returning after a six-year gap, with their sixth album Evil Remains. The album was recorded at Raincity Recorders in Vancouver B.C. by producer Jesse Gander. Evil Remains will be released on September 6 through Hammerheart Records.
