Track Premiere: Creepoid – ‘Wet Bread’

Creepoid

Hot on the heels of the band’s recent run with Slowdive, Creepoid announce a pair of headlining shows in New York City and Los Angeles (details below). In addition, Graveface Records are reissuing Creepoid’s Wet EP in celebration of the label’s 25th anniversary.

The shows are August 16 at Music Hall of Williamsburg, NY, ticket link here ,and September 5 at Echoplex, LA,

The Wet EP was released as a Record Store Day exclusive via Graveface Records in April of 2014. This special release sold out in 24 hours and was never repressed or uploaded to Spotify, adding to its lore in the Creepoid canon.

Creepoid Wet

This August, Graveface Records will celebrate 25 years as a label, with highlights under their belt from the likes of Whirr, Beachy Head, and The Appleseed Cast. For this milestone, they will be re-releasing albums that have been long out of print or never available on vinyl, and Wet is happily included in this catalog.

The EP, which was once described as a “powerhouse of four stand-out tracks that defy easy classification by adopting a dark drone and turning it on its head,” will now be available for the first time on Spotify, as well as the limited edition second pressing.

The vinyl will be available for Creepoid’s final two shows of the year—August 16 at Brooklyn’s Music Hall of Williamsburg and September 5 at The Echoplex in LA. Highlight track “Wet Bread” drops tomorrow, and the remaining three tracks will be available the following week.
