Track Premiere: Evening Standards – ‘Stardust’

Once located in Bloomington, Indiana, indie-pop act Evening Standards have relocated to Gainsville, Florida. The band, made up of ex-members of Landlord, The Door-Keys, Fat Shadow, and more, are gearing up for the release of their third LP The Shining.

Today, they’re debuting the single “Stardust” off of the upcoming album. With its simple, undistorted guitar and balance between masc and femme vocals, it’s breezy pop tune that’s somehow earnestly emotional at the same time. There’s a sense of nostalgia that runs through the gorgeous melodies in this track. It promises a gem of an indie-pop record when The Shining drops on June 21 from Dead Broke Rekerds.

You can preorder The Shining from Dead Broke Rekerds. Follow Evening Standards on Facebook and Instagram for future updates.
