Track Premiere: Ghost Town Remedy – ‘This December’

Music city goof punx Ghost Town Remedy have shared the latest installment from their upcoming seasonal EP, Terminally Chill, which arrives on January 21 through the band’s own Never Nude Records.

Listen to the band’s latest single “This December” below:

“This December” finds the group working through a festive breakup in the only way that they know how: through slinky guitar licks, crunching power chords and gang vocals.

On the track’s release, vocalist/guitarist TJ Maher states:

“For many people, the holidays are not always bright and merry. It’s not all peppermint sticks, caroling with hot chocolate, and dashing through the snow in a one-horse open sleigh. Often, we are reminded of how incredibly difficult the past year has been, best friends who have grown further apart, a family that doesn’t understand or support you, failed relationships, and loved ones who are no longer with us. If you’ve ever felt alone during the holidays, pour one out, and let’s have a drink. This one’s for you.”

The track follows the November 19 release of their previous single “Winnebago”, which saw Ghost Town Remedy pack up the station wagon and hit the road in time for the holidays.

Ghost Town Remedy specialize in a wry, crushingly-honest, punky power-pop. Terminally Chill is the follow-up to the band’s 2020 debut full-length Dry Spell.
