Oakland, California pop-punk band Guilty Party are sharing their upcoming EP’s title track, “Circling the Truth,” and you can give it a listen right here at New Noise.
The band formed in mid-2021, signed to Paper Street Cuts after their first show in November 2021, and features members of Bracket (Angelo Celli), ToyGuitar (Rosie Gonce), and Long Knives (Rob Herrera).
They recorded their debut EP, Imposter Syndrome, in two days at Earthtone Studios in Sacramento, California by Patrick Hills. The EP will be available for preorder August 3 and is set for a September 7 release, on pink vinyl and all streaming platforms.
The band chat more about the track:
“‘Circling the Truth’ was the last song we wrote for our debut EP, Circling the Truth. It’s got what we hope is everything you would ever need in a two-and-a-half minute pop-punk song: a riff, a guitar solo, vocal harmonies, and a couple of unexpected chord changes.”
