Track Premiere: Hermano – Never Boulevard

Hermano are releasing a brand-new batch of music for the first time in almost 15 years. Their latest track is titled “Never Boulevard.” They also have a new album, by the title of when the moon was high…, out on October 4 via Ripple Music.

Presave when the moon was high… here.

When the moon was high… has the world see the Californian powerhouse formed by Kyuss’ vocalist, John Garcia, bassist Dandy Brown, guitarists, Mike Callahan of Disengage and David Angstrom of Supafuzz and drummer Chris Leathers of Supafuzz. This is the first batch since 2007 when they released Into The Exam Room. It has two new studio tracks and four live songs including a never-released track.

Hermano’s story began around 26 years ago in a second-floor apartment located in Covington, Kentucky. The details are of a band that never was. Those who already know the story remember the first time they heard about Hermano … the whispers of a super-group that had tracked an album backed by Frank Kozik and set to be released on Man’s Ruin Records. Unfortunately, Kozik’s label closed before the album could be released had waited nearly four years of hurdles and contractual obligations to be cleared before hearing an album that could be lived up to its promise.

Coming together for the first time in Cincinnati, the initial riffs that Brown had constructed were arranged by the newly formed group and would become the foundations for the band’s debut album, Only a Suggestion. Over the next decade, Hermano released three studio albums and a live record showcasing the band’s force.
