Modern Angst are an exciting new punk band out of St. Louis, Missouri who capture a classic ’90s punk spirit while still projecting a modern sensibility that addresses issues of modern societal pressures in a capitalist society.
Today, they’re unveiling their latest track, “Indigestion,” which is the second single off of their eagerly awaited upcoming album Part X. With clever lyrics, slick hooks, and driving punk fury, the song packs a fierce punk rock punch.
“‘Indigestion’ is basically about being addicted to resentment and how it’s blinding you from seeing the reality of things,” explain the band about the new track. But, for all the negativity and—to be blunt—modern angst in the track, there’s a sense that there is a path forward beyond one’s own resentment. Check out the track below.
There’s no word yet on the release date for Part X, but keep up with the band on Facebook for future updates.
