Oak, Ash & Thorn are sharing their new track “Dying Culture,” off of their upcoming album Our Grief is Thus. Our Grief is Thus will be released on April 19 through Lost Future Records. The song deals with the loss of tradition due to urbanization and generational decline.

Our Grief is Thus is a concept album; every album in the record deals with grief from loss in some form. The album was recorded at the Blasting Room. It is the first record on which the band could express their thoughts in full, and it is also a tighter record compared to the band’s earlier ones. This time, they reached beyond their pagan death/black metal foundation and met with influences from crust punk, power metal, post-punk, and progressive music.
