Founded by Jarrett Adlof (vocals/guitar), Zak Howe (vocals), Jared Chreene (guitar), and Josh Sparkowich (drums), Dallas’ own emo darlings Offended by Everything are making a name for themselves with their 2000s nostalgia and raw, powerful emotional content. They’re really excited to be gearing up for the release of their new EP, We’re Safe For Now, and today they’re debuting the first single off the album called “I’m Better Now.”
“After almost TWO YEARS of planning, writing, and touring, we’re so excited to share with you guys our new EP, We’re Safe For Now,” say the band about the new release. “Presave our first single ‘I’m Better Now.’ Much love to everyone that’s stuck around and supported us to this point. We really do believe that these are the best songs this band has ever put together for you. We’re Safe For Now will be out everywhere on 4/11.”
The track is a perfect encapsulation of everything that makes emo great, with heart-wrenching lyrics carried by a deeply emotional vocal performance. Check out the track below.
