Massachusetts-based shred punk darlings Oh The Humanity combine blistering metal riffs with shout-along punk choruses to create a classic hardcore sound that sounds like it truly came from basement shows. Fast and technical yet melodic and emotional, their unique style has been featured on stages at festivals like The Fest, Camp Punksylvania, and Pouzza Fest and drawn excited audience as they’ve toured across North America and the UK. Their upcoming record Ground to Dust is due out in January as a joint release between Sell the Heart Records (U.S.), Thousand Island Records (Canada), and Engineer Records (U.K.).
Today, Oh The Humanity are premiering the latest single off the upcoming album, a melodic banger called “Love Irresolute.” Finding the perfect balance between melody and power, the song is a beautiful punk song that packs an absolutely killer punch.
“Love Irresolute is a cautionary tale of what can happen when you take your love for granted,” the band explain about the new song. “Many have taken what they think is unconditional love and stretched those limits, finding that maybe that bond isn’t as unconditional as they thought. This song is about doing right by the people you love, maintaining your relationships, and appreciating the love you have in your life if you’re lucky enough to have it.”
