Track Premiere: Pablo X Broadcasting Services – ‘Running Wild’

Following up on last year’s album debut, Pablo X Broadcasting Services, the pseudonym of French multi-instrumentalist Remy Pablo, is set to release his new EP, Running Wild, this month.

This two-track release is a blend of hard-edge, industrial psyche-punk, a sound that Pablo has honed over the years, drawing inspiration from the sonic calamity that Chrome has influenced for decades.  New Noise are on board with his style and have the title track available for a premiere below.

Running Wild builds on Pablo’s solo efforts after spending the last decade in both fore and background roles working with a slew of groups around Europe, including co-founding punk ‘n’ roll duo Escobar and currently acting as battery man for garage punk outfits The Anomalys and the King Khan Unlimited.

Instruments and production are handled solely by Pablo, with mixing assistance from Axelle Perrot and Loki Lockwood of Creepy Hollow handling mastering. For live shows, Pablo’s recruits to round out his live band include poaching members of French garage trash punks, The Silly Walks (Perrot & Ronan Goderat) on drums and guitar, respectively, and Belgian musician Quentin Tarantula on bass. This unit is primed and ready for their upcoming tour of France at month’s end, with stops at the Binic Blues Festival in Brittany, Summer Fest in Rennes, and Supersonic in Paris already confirmed.

Running Wild is available for digital release through Bandcamp, and you can follow Pablo X Broadcasting Services’s message transmission from the Old World to beyond on Instagram.
