New York City garage-punks Radar are a band that should be on your radar right now. Made up of members of Meltaways, Adult Magic, Giant Peach, Back-up Plan, and more, their sound is defined by a powerful combination of speed and melody.
They’ve got a new, self-titled album coming out on May 17 from Dead Broke Rekerds, and today, they’re debuting the song “No Reason” from their upcoming album. With a ripping punk rock energy and an infectious hook, “No Reason” has a classic, ’70s punk rock energy while still displaying modern punk sensibilities. It’s a melodic punch in the face that’s a refreshing reminder of just how much fun punk can be. Check out the track below.
The self-titled album is out May 17, and you can preorder it from Dead Broke Rekerds. Follow Radar on Instagram for future updates.
