The band’s Devin Davis shares her thoughts:
“Eyelash” was originally a silly place-holder name, but we ultimately kept it once the essence of the song revealed itself. In what seemed like a blink of an eye, the hope for my relationship was gone. It was one of those relationships built on false promises, where every moment felt fragile and laced with tension. In general, it’s about the slow burn of coming to realize that something is really wrong but not yet having the words for it—until hitting a breaking point, which, for me, was both devastating and cathartic.

Ramonda Hammer craft their music in a way that hits you when you are at your lowest point and lifts you back. The Los Angeles-based trio are made up of Devin Davis, Justin Geter, and Andy Hengl. The untamable trio aims to create music that brings a storm of raw emotion which fuses chaos and precision during their live performances with an everlasting impact.
