Ska-punk act Sad Snack release their Vending Machine album via Sell The Heart Records on December 5. Today, the band share “Kiss Me Thru Yr Mask,” which hits digital streaming platforms on October 17 and is the first song the band wrote.
According to the band, the narrative of the song is, “In a city at war with fascist thugs, with the air unbreathable from approaching wildfires, the narrator of the song flashes love letters to a neighbor in Morse Code while awaiting evacuation. As the band’s grown, every new member has added horns and vocals to make this single a timeline of the band’s early years”
San Francisco’s Sad Snack broke into the music scene following a hit cover of The Mountain Goats’ “No Children.” This queer, nonbinary ska punk band includes a four-piece horn section and was voted ‘Best Ska of 2024’ by the legendary 924 Gilman.
