American noise band Sissy Spacek are sharing their new blistering track “Diaphanous.” The song perfectly combines blast beats, electronic distortions, and intense screams. Spiritually, the song is the follow-up to the band’s past releases such as their 2016 album Disfathom, or Ways of Confusion from 2018.

The band share their history in their own words:
Sissy Spacek began in 1999 as a blur grindcore band. Almost immediately the recorded output turned into studio experiments, pushing the limits of legibility, structure, and chaotic juxtaposition. Since then the band has explored far and wide the ins and outs of extreme sound, only coming back to a somewhat conventional grindcore on Disfathom (2016, Helicopter), Ways of Confusion (2018, NWN!P), and Diaphanous (2024, To Live A Lie).
