Rock duo Sisters – comprised of Jason Blackmore (vocals / guitar / bass / keyboards ) and Mario Quintero (vocals / drums / guitar / keyboards), are set to release their sophomore album, Wings Of Deliverance, on August 29th through Spartan Records. This new album see’s the band examine the Jonestown massacre and cult leader Jim Jones, conceptually exploring the horrors that occurred. The story twists through dark turns, highlighted sonically by atmospheric vocals and intense riffs that combine alternative and heavy rock. We’re excited to premiere the second single from the album, “Home Is Where The Heart Is”. The track offers a heavy bass line and lyrics meant to infiltrate your brain. Fans of bands like Deftones and Nine Inch Nails would easily find something to like in Sisters.
The band has this to say about their new song:
“HOME IS WHERE THE HEART IS Belonging. Unity. Joy. Jim builds a devoted following at his church. These people trust him and feel as if they have finally found a place that they feel safe in. A place they identify with. Home.”
