Track Premiere: Space Horse – ‘If Loving You Is Wrong, I Don’t Want To Be Wrong’

Logo for the punk rock band Space Horse

Space Horse are for the people. The ones who pregame before a Gustavo Dudamel performance and knew that the 2018 Mayweather Jr/McGregor fight was a grift from the start. Three guys who don’t care about your scene, clique, or faction, or any stories that come with it. They’re told old for that stuff and for having members doing time in cross-generational rock groups like The Controllers, THOR (yes, that dude from BC), Streetwalkin’ Cheetahs, Hollywood Hate, and Nudist Priest, they’ve probably heard all your stories and very likely were a willing participant or bystander in some.

After threatening to release music for over a year, they’ve followed through on their warning with Born To Run In The USA, a collection of 11 tracks that editorial at The New Yorker would sneer at. New Noise, though? Nah, we’re stoked to enable these guys and premiere the first single, “If Loving You Is Wrong, I Don’t Want To Be Wrong.” Get some.

Born To Run In The USA will be released on June 20 on Steal Your Thunder Records. Preorders are available through Bandcamp, and you can follow the band’s next move on Instagram. A suggestion for y’all if you’re local to Los Angeles, check these three hollerin’ in downtown at The Redwood Bar on June 21 for a dual purpose: their album release show and marking another trip around the sun for guitarist/singer, John Ramirez. To quote D-Boon, PARTY WITH ME PUNKER!
