Phoenix-based group The Joeys are sharing their new track “Throw You Away,” a unique song that showcases the band’s influences such as garage rock, folk Americana, and surf.
The Joeys was formed in 2018, and they released their first single “Phantom Bride of 13 Curves” in 2009. They also won Alice Cooper’s Proof is in the Pudding competition in 2019. The band combine both traditional and modern rock styles within their music, as you will witness in “Throw You Away.”

“‘Throw You Away’ gives the EP a touch of psychedelic pop flare and is the project’s true emotional center. It deals with the many emotions that come with a true heartbreak. Betrayal, pain, and longing for past memories are all present on this track. It is easily the most passionate and personal song on the EP.”
