Track Premiere: Warn the Duke – ‘Angels’

Warn the Duke

A group of survivors who have persevered through lineup changes, cancer, divorce, and relocation, Brooklyn’s Warn the Duke have proven to be one of the most resilient bands out there. Now they’re back after a two year silence with a new song that follows their normal pattern of blending punk grit with ’90s alternative’s talent for melodies.

Today, Warn the Duke are debuting their new single “Angels,” which will be streaming everywhere tomorrow. With a melody that rings with the familiarity of ’80s pop-punk meeting late-’90s emo, “Angels” is both furious and comfortable, with a strong sense of musical nostalgia. ‘Angels’ came out of a year of personal and global chaos,” say the band about the single. “It’s about clawing toward hope when things fall apart.”
