Track Premiere: We Give In – ‘Timewaster’

We Give In are an alternative rock band from Leicester, UK. Formed in 2017 by vocalist Jaz Hunt and bassist Thomas Prince, the band debuted at a sold-out show supporting Dead! in their hometown with Will Harding & Tom Dunphy (guitars) and Fotis Kalantzis (drums) joining the band shortly before. Soon after, they were recording their debut single ‘337’and playing alongside bands such as WacoThe Vanishing Points and The Family

After a successful first year, the band went to the studio to record their debut EP, “Shitfaced & Scared of Everything,” with producer Tom Snell. With a sold-out release show and the local music scene paying attention to them, the EP proved to be popular and helped to push the band further.

2019 brought some setbacks for the We Give In; after two members were forced to relocate, Tom Carnell (drums) and Cam Gunn (guitar) came on board, originally filling in and eventually joining on a permanent basis. This led to a quiet year up until the last few months, in which the band regained momentum as they hosted their own headline show in October of that year and began writing new material with the new line up.

Now We Give In are back with a banging new image, sound and songs in their arsenal, and are ready to blow up the rest of 2020. Despite the current global pandemic, they remain highly motivated, practicing and recording new songs. One of which New Noise is premiering for you today!
