Levi Robin grew up in Orange County, California and, from a young age, used songwriting as a tool to express himself through his youthful disaffection. “From being a runaway to encountering eastern spirituality, from psychedelia to unearthing my own ancient Judaic roots, songwriting has been a uniquely integrating constant.” Pulling influences from everyone from Bob Dylan to Beck to Johann Sebastian Bach, Robin created a unique sound that defies genre.
Today, we’re spotlighting his most recent single, “When the Walls Fall,” which started streaming everywhere yesterday. With soulful vocals and a hearty folk sound, it creates a haunting melody that lingers in your ears long after the last note plays. “The single sings of an uproaring from the voice of conscience. When the walls fall and all seems broken, it’s an alarm to wake up from the deep slumber of the soul,” says Levi.
