Track Spotlight: Ramona Marx – ‘Seek the Day’

Ramona Marx

Hailing from Hemel Hempstead in the U.K., punk band Ramona Marx have built their reputation from their energetic and visceral live performances, having opened for the likes of The Professionals (Paul Cook’s band after the Sex Pistols), Panic Shack, Grandma’s House, Blackwaters, Night Flight, and Sheafs.

Today, we’re spotlighting their latest heavy, fuzz-ed out track “Seek the Day” which the band released last Friday. With its distorted vocals, raging distorted riffs, and power-packed drumming, it’s a must-listen for fans of truly heavy punk rock.

“Life is a game filled with plastic smiles and empty promises,” the band say about the new single. “Those in power decide the cards we’re dealt and who is born to lose. Seek the day is a metaphor for this; master puppeteers leading lambs to the slaughterhouse. Welcome to the new order. The single was recorded along with three other songs at the Forum recording studio in Kent and will feature on our upcoming EP.”
