Formed five years ago out of remnants of other bands, Victoria, Australia’s melodic punk trio All Hope Remains have been dazzling audiences across their home country. They recently signed a new deal, and they’ll be putting out a new album this fall on Pee Records in Australia and Double Helix Records in the United States.
Today, they’re debuting the video for their latest single off the upcoming album, “Mirror Mirror.” Steeped in emotional turmoil, this gorgeously melodic punk banger is as exciting as it is cathartic. The video mimics that emotional intensity with flashing lights and emotionally powerful performances from the band members.
“Mirror Mirror was inspired by a phase of self loathing in the wake of a bender,” says vocalist/bassist Mark Gilmore. “The song was a productive way of making sense of internal conflict. Chaotic thoughts that consume can still have a positive outcome.”
