Having just formed in 2024 and already carving out a reputation for energetic live shows, campy horror elements, ferocious punk energy, and irresistable hooks, Philadelphia punk band ALTARBOY are poised to explode beyond their local scene. They recently became the first signing to new label Crusty Wrapper Records, a label started by Zac Johnson of FRND CRCL earlier this year. Now the band—which is made up of Sean Flanagan (bass/vocals), Ben Harkins (guitar), Adam Kelly (guitar), and Nick Held (drums)—is ready to shine on their new label.
Today, the band are debuting the video for their latest single “Rave From the Grave,” a deliciously catchy punk song with a taste of the early days of Alkaline Trio paired with a hilariously campy zombie-themed video. “This is our first release with our newest member, Adam, who started running with us in May,” the band shares about the new single. “It’s our favorite song we’ve made so far, and it came together so quickly—we actually wrote it just a month before hitting the studio. We were originally going to record a different track, but this one took over.”
