The band share their thoughts:
“Our new single is about losing a close friend to a new relationship. The music video tells the story and captures the roller coaster of emotions that come along with it, while also highlighting the personalities of the band members.”
Among the Bodies navigate the liminal space between hardcore, deathcore, death metal, and metalcore, which is a ground they feel like home. The riffs that they produce are best suited for moshing. Both the earlier and new generations’ listeners appeal to their music, which is equally heavy and fun.

The band released their debut EP, Chaotic Intent, in 2023. Their sophomore EP, Making Sense of Our Decay, will be released on June 27, and it is a little different from the earlier one. The band also feature a revised lineup on the new record. The new EP deals with a more serious theme, such as the realities of getting older as a metalhead or hardcore kid, while the music is created in a tongue-in-cheek attitude with a nod to the genre’s roots.
