New York-based alt-rock band Atomic Life features Billy Rymer (The Dillinger Escape Plan) on drums, Cody Hosza (Glassjaw) on guitar, and Michael Sadis (The Rivalry) on bass with newcomer and multi-disciplinary performance artist Adea Frances on vocals. Having only started last year, the band have already had the honor of touring with Alien Ant Farm and sharing a stage with Head Automatica. Later this year, they’re slated to tour with The World Is A Beautiful Place and I’m no Longer Afraid to Die, where Atomic Life will travel to Canada for the first time as a band.
Today, they’re debuting the video for their new single “Strippers Anonymous.” With a sultry, danceable rhythm and the infectious vocal performance of Frances, “Strippers Anonymous” has a unique energy all its own. The video, which features Frances dancing in a very narrow spotlight, gives off a lo-fi dance vibe.
“The director, Tom Flynn, picked up a massive spotlight to create a really focused, edgy look with the feel of a live show,” the band explain. “We went with it. We wanted to try something unique for'”Strippers Anonymous,’ and one take later, we had our video. It really captures the essence of the song’s energy.”
