The band share their thoughts about the song:
“You’re so consumed by the need for perfection, that flawless creation, and then you look up and realize you’re completely alone in that pursuit. “Medusa” is about that feeling, how that intense dedication can be so isolating, almost like a dark passenger whispering in your ear, dragging you away from the present moment. You start to wonder, is that unwavering focus a gift, or is it something that’s actually holding you back from life itself?”

The band also share their thoughts about the album:
“‘Marionette’ explores themes of fear, control, and manipulation. It’s an emotional and sonic journey that delves into duality—the tension between light and dark, freedom and oppression. The album’s concept draws inspiration from Gloria Anzaldúa’s Borderlands/La Frontera: The New Mestiza, which perfectly captures the feeling of living between worlds. It’s a reflection of our personal experiences, struggles, and the complexities of living in the borderlands, both physically and metaphorically.”
