Alt-metal solo artist Brocarde wants to invite you to her last supper.
Since her musical debut in 2019, Brocarde has been drawing a lot of attention, particularly for her twisted biblical imagery, her dark, poetic storytelling, and her spooky and grand theatricality. Hailed, early on, as “One to Watch” by Planet Rock Magazine, she’s since drawn praise from the likes of Whitesnake’s David Coverdale and Korn’s Ray Luzier. But, perhaps the most head-turning moment of her life came outside of her music when she made headlines for marrying the ghost of a Victorian soldier named Edwardo.
Today, Brocarde is debuting her provocative new video for her latest single called “Last Supper.”
“The concept of Last Supper is symbolic for me, it’s more than just a meal, even in the biblical sense,” explains Brocarde. “For me it was the final word on the subject of celebrity and popular culture and a turning point in terms of moving forward and being reborn creatively. You can’t have a new beginning without an ending and the cycle of creating, like the cycle of life has to end before being brought back to life.”
