Video Premiere: Cash Bribe – ‘Demonomics’

Cash Bribe

Formed in 2019, Brooklyn’s Cash Bribe here to remind us that demons are among us. Having first started to build their reputation with their 2022 debut EP Facemask City and the 2023 follow-up Escape From New York, they’ve become for a style that has been described as a blend of old-school powerviolence, hardcore, and punk. Now they’re announcing their third EP and label debut, Demonomics, which is due out on June 13 from Futureless and promises to explore new territories in their musical palette to create a more fierce, aggressive sound.

Today, Cash Bribe are debuting their video for the title track off their upcoming EP. “Demonomics” is a hardcore song with a classic punk spirit, always pushing the envelope of noisiness without ever fully abandoning traditional song structures. The bizarre music video is mostly focused on long shots of a single person dancing in some sort of horned mask as others pop in and out of frame to sing the song. The pure absurdity of the video perfectly mimics the experimental edge of the song. Check out the video below.

Tour Date:

June 13 — @ Lucky 13 Saloon, Brooklyn NY, w/Expollutants, Circle Breaker, and Fuckcrusher (album release show)

Again, Demonomics is out on June 13 from Futureless, and you can preorder it from Quiet Panic. Follow Cash Bribe on Instagram for future updates.
