Detroit, Michigan’s Child Bite are sharing their new music video, “Erect for Dystopia.” Look no further—You can catch the video premiering right here at New Noise.
“Erect for Dystopia” is from Child Bite’s recently released split EP, Split, with Multicult. The music video isn’t the only recent happening for the band; they’ve also brought on a new drummer, Jeff Porter (Golden Torso, ex-Kylesa).
Child Bite chat more about the new video and the road ahead:
“Lots going on right now! First off, the video. ‘Erect for Dystopia’ was one of the three tunes we managed to squirt out during the pandemic. The working title was ‘Night Court’ ‘cuz for some reason the chorus bass line reminded me of that funky late sitcom theme. Amazing video by our boys over at The COIN; go check out the rest of their music video work! They went above and beyond making our apocalyptic fantasies a reality.
“We’ve been slowly coming back to life after multiple COVID-related tour cancellations… We even all caught the bug on our last short run (haha) but still had a blast. Very pumped to be hitting the road this fall with our brand new full-time drummer Jeff Porter sitting upon the iron throne. He rules. And USA Nails rule too; they are from the U.K. (confusing, huh?) and are on the first half of the journey with us. Onward, upward… sally forth.”
