Los Angeles-based punk/alternative band City Mouse have been a mainstay of their local scene for years now, gaining a reputation for their powerful live performances and relentless touring schedule. Their upcoming sophomore album So Far Out is an evocative rock album focusing on themes of loss and grief, yet holding on to a sense of hopefulness throughout.
Today, they’re debuting their video for the latest single off of the album called “repairgirl.” The song is a catchy little ditty enhanced by the buzz of punk guitars while the bizarre video, made from action figures and a creepy close-up of an eyeball, is visceral and shocking while also being cute and fun.
“The song ‘repairgirl’ is an over-the-top sad brat tantrum about feeling left behind after putting in incredible amounts of effort into a relationship,” explain the band about the new track.
