Formed in 2018 in Darwin, Australia, Danger Den have since relocated to Melbourne to take advantage of their thriving music scene. With their heart-wrenching lyrics and high-energy live performances, they’ve been carving out a name for themselves with the release of their debut LP Pull Yourself Together, winning them recognition as finalists at the Northern Territory Music Awards and with the top spot on the 2022 Territory Sounds Countdown. They’ve also had the honor of sharing stages with such big-name Australian acts as Eskimo Joe, Frenzal Rhomb, Butterfingers, and Southeast Desert Metal.
Today, Danger Den are debuting the video for their latest single “Daisy.” With twinkling guitars, killer hooks, and high-octane energy, “Daisy” creates an explosive intersection between power pop and pop-punk. The bouncy fun of the song is perfectly reflected in the video, making for an exciting experience that will make you want to sing along.
“Someone told us it sounds like Jessie’s Girl had a pop punk cousin,” says frontman Jeremy Uyloan. “That’s when we knew we had something fun and powerful. It’s cheeky, it’s nostalgic, and it hits that sweet spot between angst and melody.”
