Diffracting Thought and Never Known are sharing the new visualizer video for their collaboration “Failing Light,” and you can watch it right here at New Noise.
The two behind the projects, Alex Shahviri (Diffracting Thought) and Corwin Bermundez (Never Known), showcase the songwriting, performance, and production of their respective solo projects on the metalcore track, crossing international borders (Canada and the United States) to bring their release to the masses.
The track is an appeal to unity and common sense in an age where stability and truth are increasing hard to come by. They embrace perseverance in the face of despair through the vocals, underscored by technical guitar work and a frenetic drum performance, acting as a look ahead for the two musicians as they broaden their reach through the collaboration.
Diffracting Thought adds a bit of insight about the track and visuals behind it:
“There’s nothing new about producing from home or over the internet anymore, but we feel like the artwork and videos we’ve self-produced add a lot to a track that we’re already very excited about.”
