Diskount Vodka — a trio from “Steel City” Pueblo, Colorado with a classic punk vibe that brings to mind The Ramones, New York Dolls, and Reagan Youth — may only be a few years old, having started in May of 2022, but they’ve made great strides in those short three years. They’ve been written up in Dying Scene, released a 7″ with Arizona punks TV Tragedy, shared stages with legends like Conflict and DFL, and they even played the popular festival Punk Rock Bowling in 2023. “Pure Punk Rock, straight outta Pueblo, CO!” they loudly proclaim about themselves.
Today, Diskout Vodka are debuting their new music video for their song “On My Way (The Cowbell Song).” With an old-school guitar riff, infectious bass lines, energetic femme vocals, and — as the name suggests — a whole lot of cowbell, this is a shining example of everything that makes punk rock glorious. And, in traditional punk style, the whole thing clocks in at under two minutes in length. Add to that the high-intensity music video that sees the band having a blast playing their song, and you’ve got an all-out punk rock banger of a video.
