Video Premiere: ENMY – ‘Novocaine’

Energetic hard rock quartet ENMY are sharing their latest single and video, “Novocaine,” and you can check it out right here at New Noise.

The independent, four-piece band originally hails from Cincinnati, Ohio, bringing a fresh and energetic sound to modern-day rock with their unique blend of soaring vocals, groovy instrumentals, and electronic melodies.

Since releasing their debut in 2020, ENMY have appeared on multiple Spotify Editorial Playlists, including “New Core,” “New Blood,” “Top of the Core,” and “New Metal Tracks.”

Guitarist Michael Quinn opens up about the track:

“The song (‘Novocaine’) is about finding those things in life that allow you to tune everything else out. Something that can numb pain, release stress, or help you deal with things that are challenging. For us personally, music is that outlet. When I need a break from life, I plug my guitar in, so we wanted to use that as the ‘escape’ in the video. The video shows someone struggling with a relationship and then daydreaming of watching the band. But, daydreams don’t last forever, so as the song goes on, the vision becomes more distorted and ultimately changes to the thought of fixing the relationship causing the pain.”

ENMY are gearing up for their upcoming summer tour with Eyes Set To Kill, with a new full-length on the way for 2023.
