Video Premiere: From Parts Unknown – ‘Take It Out’

From Parts Unknown are sharing their new song and music video “Take It Out,” the second single from their upcoming album Bad Haircuts.

Watch the video here:

Ben McCracken, vocalist and guitarist, explains the new video,

“We wanted to make a more performance-based video, almost a throwback to ’70’s rock. The song’s lyrics are about how pointless it is to hang onto bigoted words. Just take it all out of your vernacular. No one is going to miss out on anything because some racist or sexist phrase becomes non-existent.”

From Parts Unknown formed in Dallas, Texas over seven years ago. Since then, they have toured extensively around the U.S and abroad, logging hundreds of shows and countless miles. The band plan to continue their hard work in support of their new album Bad Haircuts.

The first single from the upcoming album was “Blood and Teeth,” the anthemic track showed a different side of the band—a harder edge of punk rock with sing-a-longs a plenty.
