Video Premiere: Heavy Halo – ‘Bloodrush’

Heavy Halo

Hailing from the busy streets of New York City, Heavy Halo is a duo featuring vocalist McKeever and producer Gosteffects, who fuse alt-rock with industrial elements. Their new album, Damaged Dream, is out on July 25 from Silent Pendulum Records and promises to bring the best of rock and electronic elements together.

Today, Heavy Halo are debuting the visualizer for their new single “Bloodrush,” a pulse-pounding, fast-paced industrial rock track that brings together the power of rock, the slickness of electronic elements, and McKeever’s clean, crisp vocals. It adds up to a track that’s more than the sum of its parts.

“‘Bloodrush’ embodies everything we want a Heavy Halo song to be: shot through with adrenaline and sexuality and searching for an alchemy of industrial noise and melody,” says McKeever about the track. We took a cue from our heroes Depeche Mode’s ‘Enjoy The Silence’ which warns about how words can ruin moments of intoxicating desire… ‘Words are very unnecessary, they can only do harm.’ But because we lack British charm, we expressed it way less elegantly: ‘Don’t talk, just touch, don’t think, just fuck.’”
