On February 2, Dischord Records released J. Robbins’ second full-length solo album, Basilisk, on LP and digital formats via Dischord Records. J. engineered, mixed, and produced it himself, and it features bass/backing vocals by Brooks Harlan, drums/percussion by Darren Zentek, cello, and some guest guitar by Gordon Withers, and a few other guest contributors.
One of the standout tracks was “Exquisite Corpse,” and today it premieres with the video treatment from Scott Gordon, an incredibly talented animator who was also involved in the Salad Days film. Enjoy it below.
Additionally, J. has announced that he’ll be supporting Bob Mould on tour (again) and that the J. Robbins (band) are headed to California for shows with Sunny Day Real Estate. Dates below.
