Jeshua shares his thoughts:
“‘The Flood’ is an anthem of love and unity in a time where we are more divided than ever despite constant connection and access to information. ‘The Flood’ is a metaphorical washing away of all superficialities that separate us as people and bring us back together in the rawness of human existence.
“In the video, I wanted to convey the old story of a talented young artist signing a record contract with a coked-out executive and going through a transformation where he turns into an out-of-control rock star. We played into the funny music industry tropes based on my own life experience of growing up in the music industry and seeing my peers go down similar paths. At the end of the video, our protagonist finds his way back to his original state of passion for his art.”
