Get ready for Local Nomad, the solo project of South Carolina-based Michael Desmond who can boast having come up playing alongside Nassau County acts like As Tall As Lions, Straylight Run, and I Am The Avalanche. He’s slowly rolling out singles from his upcoming album Local Nomad & The Soft Rock Orchestra, which drops in March, and today we have one of those brand spanking new singles just for you.
Today, Local Nomad is debuting the video for “Get Along,” a song that fuses rock elements with soft acoustic pop and a gentle hip-hop beat to create a dynamic and captivating little ditty that’s bound to be bouncing around your head for days. The deceptively simple music video that features a camera turning around in a circle in one long shot with several versions of the same person is actually a really impressive feat when you imagine how hard it would be to coordinate something like that.
