Vocalist Lucía shares her thoughts:
“‘Bracit’ is a response to The Smiths song and a warning about the danger of incels and their violence towards women. The video clip was made by the photographer and designer F. Bordini, based on his own photographs taken in Granada, a city where religion, the lack of decent employment, and mass tourism direct the day-to-day social dynamics.”
Palmar De Troya were formed in 2019 when musicians from different bands joined forces to achieve the goal of creating a distinctive and experimental music. The band is strongly inspired by ‘90s post-hardcore, punk, and noise rock. The band’s name originates from a serene town in southern Spain where the “Palmarianos” religious sect was established in the 1970s. In 2020, the band released their debut EP, which contained six songs. Their upcoming EP II was mixed and mastered by Rafa Camisón in Estudio 79.\
